Important Indonesian voice needs help

The Jakarta Post has long been a valuable voice in the Indonesian landscape. It has spoken out against corruption and on behalf of those whose voices and stories are often overlooked. And much more besides.

Now however, the English-language newspaper is set to fire two-thirds of its staff if the publication can't break even. A subscription costs just 50,000 Rupiah (US$3.50) a month. It's worth it.
